Opportunity Overview

Optum is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Tri-State region. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, explaining procedures to patients, and operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality images.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepares and positions patients for diagnostic imaging procedures
* Explains procedures and process to patients
* Operates imaging equipment to produce high-quality images
* Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff
* Performs routine maintenance, diagnoses malfunctions, and makes minor repairs on radiologic equipment

Requirements:

* High school diploma / GED
* License or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology in the state of New York
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

* 1+ years of experience working as a Radiologic Technologist
* Experience with Epic EMR software

Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly range for this position is $23.22 to $45.43 per hour.
