Healthcare Support Specialist

Position Overview
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a vital role in delivering essential clinical support as part of the healthcare team. Under regular supervision, the PCT is responsible for a range of patient care activities that contribute to the overall treatment and recovery process. This position involves providing fundamental patient care services and assisting in the implementation of the patients' care plans. Please note that PCTs are not authorized to perform phlebotomy procedures. The patient demographic includes individuals from infancy to elderly adults.
Key Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid CNA certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of six (6) months of relevant experience in a similar role, or completion of at least two (2) semesters of clinical training in an accredited nursing program, along with CNA certification from MBON.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Successful completion of the Written Screening Test and Competency Validation Assessment is necessary.
