Opportunity
We currently have an opening for a Welding Technical Advisor.
Position Overview
The Welding Technical Advisor will deliver expert technical assistance and manage a range of welding products tailored to meet customer needs and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to technical inquiries related to product lines from customers and the sales team via various communication channels.
- Guide customers and the sales team in selecting the most suitable processes and products for specific applications.
- Conduct research and evaluate competitive products to establish benchmarks for our offerings.
- Collaborate with the quality department to investigate and identify the root causes of product or application issues.
- Assess customer and market requirements for welding products.
- Identify and propose new welding products for development.
- Support the marketing team in creating product documentation.
- Provide customers with requested welding procedures.
- Assist in training the sales team on product knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Degree in manufacturing, engineering, or welding.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing and welding is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes.
- Experience in metallurgy is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic mathematical skills.
