Job Overview
The Ragon Institute, a collaborative research center at the forefront of biomedical science, seeks a highly motivated individual to lead a research program within the Kwon Lab. As a Senior Immunologist, you will develop and execute a translational research strategy that addresses important health questions, leveraging the unique resources of the lab.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Principal Investigator to design and implement a mechanistic research program
  • Nurture and supervise trainees at all levels, focusing on personal growth and independence
  • Communicate results through publications and conference presentations
  • Assist in strategic planning for the broader group
  • Perform administrative duties related to lab management
  • Promote a welcoming lab culture
  • Apply for outside funding when appropriate

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree in immunology or related field with 3+ years of postdoctoral experience
  • Experience in mentoring and management
  • Demonstrated integrity, excellence, and teamwork
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High-impact publications as first or senior author

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
