Job Summary:

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role involves working four 10-hour days, providing critical support in a busy Cath Lab environment. The Cath Lab Tech will assist with various interventional procedures, ensuring optimal patient care and high-quality imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Assist with procedures including angiograms, stent placements, and catheterizations.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort by preparing and positioning patients appropriately.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to provide accurate and timely care.
  • Maintain and manage equipment and supplies, ensuring the Cath Lab is fully operational.
  • Document procedures and patient information accurately.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech.
  • Active ARRT (R) or CCI (RCIS) certification preferred.
  • BLS (AHA only) certification required; ACLS (AHA only) certification preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
  • 50-mile radius rule applies; locals are not accepted.
