Job Description:

At Entegris, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Materials Quality Engineer - Mechanical Fabrication Co-Op to join our team. This is a 6-month assignment that will provide the selected candidate with valuable experience in quality engineering and a chance to contribute to the company's mission.

The Role:

This role will work closely with the Material Quality Engineering team to identify high-impact raw materials and parts, analyze data to identify trends, and develop plans to improve quality and reduce scrap costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze data sets to identify correlations and visualize trends using statistical analysis
  • Identify alternative sources that improve upon the trends of incoming parts
  • Identify gaps in internal measurement and documentation processes to ensure proactive alert against downstream internal or external customer impacts
Requirements:
  • Background in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication, or a related field
  • Pursuing an advanced degree (Masters or PhD) or graduating in 2025
  • Competent in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions
  • Familiarity with CAD or Solidworks
  • Effective communication skills
  • Problem-solving techniques to develop action plans
