Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Safety Officer to join our team at Adams and Associates, Inc. As a key member of our Safety and Security department, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate safety and security operations to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to prevent future incidents.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective supervision and services are provided to students.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on safety and security procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitor and report on safety and security metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in military, law enforcement, safety, or security required.
  • Valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds and assess the lift load to ask for necessary assistance.
Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions

The Senior Safety Officer will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The position requires the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Senior Safety Officer must be able to lift 40 pounds and assess the lift load to ask for necessary assistance.
