Role Overview

This Food Pantry Logistics Coordinator position is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Friends For All, a mission-driven organization dedicated to cultivating growth and learning. As a key member of our Client Services department, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting food pantry deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service and client confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage food pantry delivery schedules, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of essential goods to clients.
  • Verify and inspect delivery contents against daily lists, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
  • Maintain records of delivery logs, mileage, and equipment maintenance, providing valuable insights for process improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via text and phone, addressing any concerns or issues related to delivery services.
  • Collaborate with the Food Pantry Manager to ensure seamless operations, troubleshooting any challenges that arise during deliveries.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in goods delivery, with a strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain logistics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and community partners.
  • A valid State Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle, with proof of automobile insurance coverage.
  • Familiarity with MS Office 365, especially Outlook and SharePoint, Adobe, TEAMS, and Zoom, as well as other software applications used in the industry.
