To provide comprehensive health services to students, minimizing absences due to illness and maximizing educational opportunities. This temporary position will begin on a specific date and last for a specified period.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and screen students' health needs
- Develop and implement intervention plans
- Provide counseling and referrals as needed
- Manage and evaluate health services
- Communicate effectively with school staff and medical professionals
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and related areas
- Ability to diagnose and provide care for ill or injured students
- Ability to convey medical information effectively
- Ability to work with diverse groups and students with special needs
- Ability to follow orders and coordinate work with others
Adhere to professional safety standards and practices, including federal and state regulations. Implement Board Policy regarding Blood Borne Pathogens and other medical or health care policies.
Credentials- Education: RN BSN preferred
- Experience: 2 years of pediatric experience
- Certifications: CPR and First aid certified
