Job Opportunity: Lifeguard

The Jewish Community Center is seeking a highly skilled and certified lifeguard to join our team. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our guests by preventing and responding to emergencies in and around our pool facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular surveillance of pool patrons to identify potential hazards and take proactive measures to prevent accidents.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, providing first aid and CPR as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe pool environment, performing routine maintenance tasks as directed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in lifeguarding or a related field.
  • CPR certification and current lifeguard certification from a recognized training organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
