Job Title: Veterinary Reception/Vet AssistantJob Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterinary Reception/Vet Assistant to join our team at My Pet's Vet in Summerville, SC. As a key member of our animal care team, you will provide exceptional customer service, support our veterinarians and veterinary technicians, and contribute to the overall well-being of our furry patients.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet clients, answer phones, and provide information to clients and staff.
  • Animal Care: Assist with restraint of patients during procedures, clean kennels, exam rooms, and treatment tables, and run and set up lab tests.
  • Administrative Tasks: Schedule appointments, admit and check out patients, process payments, and communicate information between clients and staff.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in the animal care industry.
  • Skills: Excellent customer communication skills, motivated and passionate about helping animals, education: high school or equivalent, experience using multiple-line telephone systems, excellent animal-handling skills, ability to properly restrain patients, and ability to complete assigned tasks in the time allotted without direct supervision.
