Intermodal Chassis Specialist

About the Role:

Pacific Rail Services is seeking an experienced Railyard Chassis Mechanic to join their team. As an Intermodal Chassis Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining trailers and chassis at the Norfolk Southern Buffalo, NY Railyard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspecting and analyzing malfunctions on trailers and chassis
• Completing repairs efficiently and effectively
• Maintaining a safe and efficient work environment

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Welding experience is a plus
• Hostler (yard jockey) experience is a plus
• Knowledge of shop equipment
