Sales Associate Nights and Weekends Position

We're looking for a Sales Associate Nights and Weekends to join our team and help us deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Position Overview
As a Sales Associate Nights and Weekends, you'll be responsible for driving revenue by building relationships with clients, sharing style and product information, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment. You'll consistently achieve individual goals that support store objectives and contribute to our overall success.
Key Responsibilities
• Embody our values and set an example through your behaviors.
• Ensure compliance with all Knitwell Group practices and procedures.
• Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager, Co-Manager, and Sales Leads.
Revenue Generation
• Consistently meet or exceed divisional, store, and individual financial and credit goals while contributing to the store's overall objectives.
Client Experience
• Provide exceptional client service by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations, and adhering to our service experience standards.
• Build relationships with clients, create client loyalty, and multitask while servicing internal and external clients.
• Address client concerns, resolve issues when possible, and involve management when necessary.
• Portray a gracious, friendly, energetic, and engaging manner and be respectful and professional at all times.
• Take ownership of feedback for professional growth and development and consistently receive positive, unsolicited client feedback.
• Communicate effectively with store management, team members, and external clients in person, through written correspondence, and over the phone.
• Build collaborative and productive relationships by sharing ideas, treating others fairly, with respect, and valuing differences.
• Embody our values and behaviors and inspire team members by leading by example through your words and actions.
• Support an environment of learning and trust by acting as a positive role model.
• Ensure compliance with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all federal, state, and local laws.
Operations
• Complete opening and closing procedures and tasks as directed by the Leadership Team with a client focus.
• Meet merchandise processing standards and maintain an organized and accessible work area.
• Adhere to Loss Prevention practices and be aware of and report potential incidents to ensure shortage control and protect company assets.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report potential hazards to store management.
• Participate and assist in preparing for inventory.
• Report to work as scheduled, record time worked accurately, and remain flexible to the needs of the business.
• Follow all Knitwell Group operational guidelines, processes, and procedures.
• Review Bulletin Boards daily.
Technical Expertise
• Demonstrate a desire and ability to be learner responsible and navigate our computer learning systems.
• Perform register transactions quickly and efficiently.
• Be proficient in using Distributed Order Maintenance and StyleFinder to locate products for clients and process transactions accurately.
• Operate the phone, answering calls with a proper greeting, transferring, and placing calls on hold.
• Operate and understand the functions of the Point of Sale Terminal.
Product/Brand Management
• Understand and clearly articulate our brand positioning, including our uniqueness, current marketing and promotional initiatives, markdowns, POS events, Bounce Back promotions, coupon events, lifestyle concepts to internal and external clients.
• Live our Purpose, Values, and Behaviors in all interactions.
• Participate in and attend Store Meetings.
• Proactively use associate education tools to build product and styling knowledge with peers.
• Embrace fashion, understand current market trends, and articulate them using our interpretations in every client interaction.
• Represent the brand by adhering to our dress code guidelines.
• Package and wrap client purchases according to our standards.
Position Requirements
• Client Service: Ability to function as a role model, ensuring the client remains the top priority.
• Follow Directions: Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines as assigned with minimal supervision and within designated timeframes.
• Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement and maintain with our guidelines.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with Clients, Members of Management, Business Partners, and Store Associates.
• Accuracy: Ability to handle cash and provide change without error.
• Schedule: Remain flexible in scheduling that meets the needs of the business.
• Physical: Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Educational Requirements and Experience
• Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year sales associate or relevant experience in the services industry with proven results.
