Interior Designer

Scott Rice Office Works is a leading commercial furnishing provider, creating engaging and inspiring spaces tailored to clients' needs and goals. Our clients range from small businesses to Fortune 500 corporations, healthcare, education, government, and hospitality environments.

We are seeking an Interior Designer who can work independently and collaboratively with internal and external partners to develop creative interior space solutions. The successful candidate will coordinate and implement the design process on projects from initial sales consultation to final delivery.

• Engage with clients to gather information and develop/maintain relationships.
• Provide full-service interior design services, including custom and innovative solutions.
• Perform field measurements and inventory product.
• Conduct product research and contact vendors for pricing and information.
• Specify furniture required per final furniture layouts and select furniture finishes.
• Produce and present design concepts to clients.
• Generate, organize, and maintain CAD/CET files.
• Produce furniture floor plans, space plans, finish palettes, furniture specification, and installation drawings.
• Develop validation packages and spreadsheets.
• Prepare design proposals.
• Estimate budgetary hours and manage and monitor project hours.
• Attend and engage in industry events.
• Develop professional networks with peers and clients/customers.

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
• Proficient in PC-based programs, including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, CET, Revit, SketchUp, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro.
• 3 years of experience in the Interior Design field is preferred, but not required.
• Prior experience with system furniture products is a plus.
• Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) or National Architecture Board (NAB) accreditation preferred.
