Job Title: Registered Nurse - Clinical Staff Leader

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Staff Leader in the Intensive Care Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse Clinical Staff Leader will be responsible for providing clinical patient care and ensuring the quality of patient care delivery in the ICU. This role will also involve reviewing staffing needs based on patient acuity and recommending corrective actions when necessary.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical patient care and ensure the quality of patient care delivery in the ICU
  • Review staffing needs based on patient acuity and recommend corrective actions when necessary
  • Assist in ensuring the quality of patient care delivery in a specific patient care area
  • Serve as a role model for professional nursing practice
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
  • Two (2) years related experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
