About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team at Allina Health. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and the American College of Radiology (ACR) guidelines.
  • Use independent judgment to ensure accurate and high-quality images are obtained.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Vocational degree from an accredited School of Diagnostic Ultrasound or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of experience in diagnostic sonography.
  • Certified Ultrasound Technologist - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered in abdomen, and/or OB/GYN, registry eligible upon hire.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required registered RVT upon hire for AHG Clinic Locations.
  • BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required upon hire.

Physical Demands

  • Medium Work*: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently.
