Your Responsibilities:
As a Healthcare Reception Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service both over the phone and in person.
- Welcoming patients and visitors, assessing their needs, and directing them appropriately.
- Entering demographic and insurance data accurately.
- Scheduling and registering patients while collecting necessary information.
- Handling incoming calls from patients and their representatives.
- Scanning and faxing patient documents.
- Providing information and answering inquiries within your scope of practice, referring complex questions to the appropriate departments.
- Collecting co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances as per insurance guidelines.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned.

- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in customer service; healthcare experience is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is advantageous.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.
- Proficiency in computer usage and relevant software necessary for fulfilling job responsibilities.
- Up-to-date vaccinations, including annual Influenza, TDaP, and TB.
