Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver cranes and equipment to various locations.
  • Ensure proper securing of equipment on the trailer prior to transport.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle as mandated.
  • Assist crane operators with the correct setup of equipment.
  • Disassemble, maintain, and store rigging tools and equipment.
  • Keep track of inventory for chains, booms, and straps assigned to the vehicle.
  • Inspect, clean, and perform maintenance on chains, booms, and straps.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles is required.
  • Experience with cranes is a plus.
  • Ability to comply with various customer-specific safety protocols.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in reading and speaking English to understand and respond to instructions, signage, and safety training.
Physical Demands:

Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, stoop, climb, and navigate around the shop and equipment. This role involves significant physical effort, including the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Candidates should be prepared for exposure to noise, heat, dust, and fumes in various environments. Driving for local travel is also a requirement.
