We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our client's team at Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of related experience or additional education.

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electro-mechanical products in accordance with engineering instructions, technical manuals, and training. You will also be responsible for performing wiring harness and cable assembly, including continuity checks on the final assemblies.

The candidate must be willing to perform other tasks as assigned. Essential functions include assembling electro-mechanical products, following written instructions, performing wiring harness and cable assembly, and applying technical standards.

The successful candidate will have experience with electronics or cable assemblies, circuit board level soldering and desoldering, and masking, conformal coating, connector potting, component staking, or component bonding. They will also have strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work, as well as basic ability in the utilization of computer software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

The work environment will be an ESD production environment with some exposure to machine noise. Overtime may be requested to fulfill needs. The candidate must be able to pass visual requirements per J-STD-001, including both near vision and color vision testing.
