Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Health Advocates Network - Midwest. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program.
  • 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
  • Current Certified/Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) licensure in applicable state (MI).
  • American Heart Association BLS and PALS for Health Care Providers.
  • Additional certifications may be required.
