Palo Verde Community College District is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students, faculty, and staff.

• Perform cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, as well as cleaning restrooms and replacing laboratory supplies.
• Empty waste paper baskets, pick up debris, and remove trash to central area for pick-up.
• Clean windows, screens, woodwork, walls, ceilings, furniture, and equipment.
• Deliver supplies and perform related work as required.
• Maintain all buildings in proper sanitary condition and protect school property from loss, damage, defacement, and vandalism.

• Knowledge of requirements for maintaining college buildings and grounds in a clean and orderly condition.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Possession of skills and physical strength to operate floor scrubbing machines, floor polishing machines, wet and dry vacuum machines, and wet and dry foam rug cleaning machines.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of related work experience.
• Valid Driver's License.

The Custodian will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and physical demands of the job. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
