Construction Management Co-op/Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op to join our Construction Management team at Maxwell Construction. As a Co-op, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of roles, including building layout, process submittals, material and equipment expediting, subcontractor and workforce coordination, document control, monitoring safety and/or quality, and project controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with building layout and surveying
- Process submittals and ensure compliance with company standards
- Expedite materials and equipment to project sites
- Coordinate with subcontractors and workforce to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Monitor safety and quality on project sites
- Assist with project controls and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
