About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at LHC Group. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain and other medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' functional status and physical therapy needs
  • Assist physicians in developing therapy plans of care
  • Observe and report patients' responses to treatment and any changes in their condition
  • Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and/or maintain maximum functioning using acceptable standards of practice
  • Instruct and inform participating members of the healthcare team, patients, and family/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals
Requirements
  • Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state
  • Current CPR certification
  • Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle
