As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for developing competency in clinical practice, including appropriate drug therapy for patients and prevention/resolution of drug-related problems. You will also be responsible for facilitating medication-related continuity of care at admission, transfer, and discharge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops competency in clinical practice, including appropriate drug therapy for patients and prevention/resolution of drug-related problems.
  • Facilitates medication-related continuity of care at admission, transfer, and discharge.
  • Reviews and accurately interprets medication orders.
  • Develops competency in dispensing and compounding medications consistent with good pharmaceutical practice.
  • Ensures formulary adherence and recommends cost-effective therapies to providers.
  • Actively supports procedures and initiatives to prevent medication events.
  • Orients/trains new pharmacy team members and provides direction to pharmacy technicians.
Requirements:
  • Pharmacist license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
  • Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certifications may be required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
  • No experience required.
