Position Overview

As a key member of our team, the Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for performing essential cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the facility remains in pristine condition.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Maintaining cleanliness and order in designated areas, including restrooms, meeting rooms, and office spaces.
  • Executing thorough cleaning processes such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Handling waste disposal and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed.
  • Utilizing specialized cleaning equipment effectively to perform tasks.
  • Assisting in the oversight of cleaning operations during events and ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Conducting scheduled deep cleaning activities as required.
Required Skills and Attributes

To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following competencies:

Customer Service Orientation - Ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism and respond promptly to the needs of others.

Reliability - Consistently punctual and dependable, ensuring responsibilities are met even in the absence of supervision.

Attention to Detail - Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Physical Capability - Must be able to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, and moving items up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required. Previous experience in custodial services or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Environment

This position may involve exposure to varying noise levels and physical demands typical of a cleaning role.
