2. Execute cleaning tasks such as:
- Dusting and mopping
- Emptying waste receptacles
- Changing bed linens
- Vacuuming and utilizing floor cleaning equipment
3. Identify and report potential safety hazards to maintain a safe environment.
4. Manage the collection and transportation of solid and infectious waste within the facility.
5. Ensure proper handling of soiled linens, adhering to safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment.
6. Maintain inventory levels of clean linens and stock supplies in designated areas.
7. Organize and keep cleaning carts and closets tidy and well-stocked.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- 0 to 2 years of experience in environmental services is preferred
- High school diploma or GED is advantageous
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs frequently.
