Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Assist in the timely sequencing and removal of raw materials, work-in-progress, scrap, and finished goods in conjunction with the production schedule to all work centers.
  • Inventory Management: Store materials in designated locations based on material flow strategies and perform basic truck and trailer loading throughout the plant.
  • Quality Control: Assist in quarterly cycle counts and use radio frequency scanning devices for inventory movements.
  • Housekeeping: Perform general housekeeping to maintain a neat and organized warehouse.
  • Safety: Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities, working in conjunction with the Safety Manager to establish and maintain all policies and programs to assure a safe working environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Responsible for meeting or exceeding company performance metrics for driving continuous improvement and making well-informed decisions for manufacturing activities, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
