Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist

Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health is a leading pediatric healthcare institution seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist to join our esteemed team. Our Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders is a nationally recognized program, affiliated with the IU Health Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center, and is the only pediatric stem cell transplant program in Indiana.
This full-time position includes an appointment at the Indiana University School of Medicine as an Assistant/Associate Professor. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care to hematology patients, growing and developing our hemophilia and thrombosis center, and participating in advocacy efforts and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to hematology patients, including lumbar puncture, bone marrow aspirate, and bone marrow biopsies
- Develop and grow our hemophilia and thrombosis center
- Participate in advocacy efforts and community engagement
- Collaborate with our adult hematology team and research efforts
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultation and care
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
- Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship required
- Excellent clinical care skills in all areas of hematology/oncology, with a special focus on thrombosis and hemostasis
- Interest in clinical research preferred, but not required
