Position Responsibilities
  • Deliver individual and group sessions to clients in their homes, virtually, and in various facilities.
  • Plan and conduct developmentally-appropriate sessions to meet client-specific, measurable goals.
  • Collect and synthesize clinical data into measurable outcome reports.
  • Evaluate client progress and complete daily progress reports and quarterly re-assessment reports in a timely manner.
  • Transport equipment to client homes, day facilities, medical facilities, and/or residential facilities.
  • Adhere to THMT documentation and comply with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
  • Participate in ongoing growth and development activities consistent with the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) professional standards.
Qualifications
  • Board certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC).
  • Experience working with children and adults with neurological, intellectual, developmental disorders, and mental health needs.
  • Dependable transportation with a good driving record.
  • Effective and strong behavioral management skills.
  • Proficient musicianship and clinical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
