We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team at Dental One Associates- Woodson Square location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and satisfaction while operating in a collaborative environment.
This role involves a variety of clinical duties, including cleaning teeth and examining oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. You will also educate patients on oral hygiene, take and develop x-rays, and apply fluoride or sealants. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential for this position.
ScheduleMonday- Friday 8am - 5pm
Compensation$55/hour-$60/hour with additional monthly incentive bonus available. X-ray - Required, and Local anesthesia - Not Required
We have implemented strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of our patients and staff. Our office is CDC COVID-19 compliant, and we provide all necessary PPE for our staff.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Dental Hygienist, you will be committed to improving the oral health of our patients through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services. You must be enthusiastic about your work and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times.
Under limited supervision, you will provide oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with state-approved guidelines. Your responsibilities will include:
- Patient screening, medical history, and dental charting
- Application of fluoride and protective sealants
- Removal of calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line
- Provides nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease
- Other duties as assigned
Active Hygiene license for the state you applied, required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
