Raintree Assisted Living LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Activity Director to join our team. As an Activity Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging activities and programs for residents in our assisted living and nursing home settings.
Key Responsibilities- Activity Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement a monthly calendar of events and activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with our care team to ensure the wellbeing and safety of our residents.
- Resident Engagement: Assess residents' needs and preferences to tailor activities accordingly, and maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback.
- Logistics and Budgeting: Manage the budget for activity supplies and resources, and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.
- Transportation: Provide weekly transportation to medical appointments on Mondays and to a predetermined store every Wednesday.
- Experience: Experience in memory care, dementia care, or caregiving is highly preferred.
- Education and Skills: Knowledge of social work principles and practices, strong event planning and organizational skills, ability to manage schedules and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and creativity and enthusiasm in developing engaging activities for diverse populations.
- Availability: Must be at least 21 years of age and available to work Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm.
- Competitive Salary: $18.00 per hour.
- Benefits Package: Comprehensive benefits package, including dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
