Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our nuclear facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering and technical expertise in the identification, analysis, and resolution of complex problems.
  • Ensure the accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, and monitoring of work activities.
  • Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, and documentation related to defined problems and analysis.
  • Conduct engineering and related studies, complete non-routine engineering projects, and manage project schedules and interfaces.
  • Develop positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities and maintain accurate records and files.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • A Master's degree in Engineering may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
  • 0-2 years of engineering experience for the Nuclear Engineer I role.
  • 2-4 years of engineering experience and a minimum of 1 year of nuclear experience for the Nuclear Engineer II role.
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Proficiency in engineering theories and principles.
  • Proficiency in practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, and making sound recommendations.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in principles of project management.
  • Experience in the utility industry.
Working Conditions

This role will require working in an office environment with some work in the plant to conduct system walkdowns and field support of modification implementation. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
