Paraprofessional Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Paraprofessional to join our exceptional team of educators at Soliant. This role will provide specialized instruction, support, and advocacy to students with disabilities, ensuring their academic and personal growth.

• Assist teachers in providing instruction and support to students in various educational settings.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Implement behavior management strategies as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with classroom management and organization of materials.
• Support students with special needs, including physical, emotional, or learning disabilities.
• Supervise students during non-instructional periods such as lunch, recess, and field trips.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to support the overall educational goals of the school.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of at least 60 college credit hours preferred.
• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of educational principles and practices beneficial.

• Certified to be a Paraprofessional in the state of California with prior experience.
• Certification must be maintained through continuing education as outlined by the California State Board of Education.
