Job Summary:

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team. This is a fast-paced IR unit with a variety of procedures, and we are looking for a nurse who can thrive in this environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Interventional Radiology department
  • Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure smooth and efficient procedures
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced IR or similar setting
  • Current WI RN license and ACLS certification
  • Experience with Epic charting system preferred
  • Ability to work varied 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Unit Information:

  • 1:1 patient ratio, with an average of 4-6 patients per day
  • Varied procedures, including IR procedures
  • Collaborative team environment with 1 RN and 2 Rad Techs

Additional Information:

  • Guaranteed 24 hours per week, with potential for additional hours
  • May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations
  • Scrub colors supplied by the department
