Job Summary

We are recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Southland Health Care Center. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients, working in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic group of healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
  • Design and implement occupational therapy programs, incorporating evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
  • At least two years of experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike.
  • Capacity to think critically, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
