Job Title: Hotel Reception Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced hotel reception supervisor to lead our front office team at Comfort Inn of Utica. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, overseeing VIP guest requests, and maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train front desk staff to provide excellent customer service and ensure efficient room assignments.
• Monitor guest feedback and GIS scores to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with hotel credit policies and maximize room revenue through effective sales strategies.
• Generate and update reports, files, and checklists to maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with fellow employees to achieve productivity levels above budgeted standards.
• Operate the property management system efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain inventory of front office supplies and purchase necessary items as required.
• Stay knowledgeable about hotel rates, packages, and promotions.
• Complete and/or ensure proper bucket checks are done each shift.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or customer service environment.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation.
• An engaging personality with a genuine smile and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Experience/Knowledge:

• Previous supervisory responsibility.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
