Position Overview
The Clinical Nurse in Interventional Radiology plays a vital role in delivering professional nursing care by utilizing the nursing process and adhering to patient-family centered care principles. This position operates under the guidance of the Nurse Leader, ensuring that quality patient care is provided in accordance with Corewell Health's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the Interventional Radiology department.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills.

Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required within five years.
- Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months.
- Specialty certification is highly recommended within two years.
- Minimum of one year of experience as an RN in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) preferred.
Work Environment
