We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at the Columbus Georgia Convention & Trade Center. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness in our food service areas.
Responsibilities- Ensure all tableware, serving materials, cooking equipment, and small wares are washed and sanitized to the highest standards.
- Maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled.
- Remove all trash and maintain loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition.
- Stock plates, glasses, pots, utensils, and pans after cleaning.
- Clean and sanitize all food service areas and equipment.
- Experience working in a casual and/or fine dining atmosphere is helpful.
- High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests.
- Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
We offer a competitive hourly wage of $14 to $15, as well as benefits including a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Part-time employees also receive one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.
