Manufacturing Director

We are seeking a highly experienced leader to oversee the manufacturing operations of our Assembly, Test, Paint, Upfit, and Kitting (ATPUKM) business at our Rocky Mountain Engine Plant in North Carolina.
About the Role:- Lead the day-to-day operations, maintenance, quality, and manufacturing engineering for RMEP with direct responsibility for approximately 1,100 employees across all three shifts.
- Provide comprehensive leadership for a large plant or department, ensuring operational excellence, high-quality standards, and efficient maintenance practices.
- Drive operational results by setting and monitoring key performance indicators, motivating teams, and establishing expectations in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Manage, mentor, and coach individual and collective talent to enhance manufacturing capabilities across the organization.
- Champion projects aligned with Cummins Operation System and Functional Excellence, leveraging common processes, tools, and information systems.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to maintain relationships and meet customer and business requirements.
- Review key performance indicators and operational trends to validate root cause analysis and implement corrective actions, addressing supply chain failures as necessary.
- Prepare and manage an annual operating plan, ensuring alignment with supply chain initiatives and championing Cummins values, including diversity, community involvement, and creating the right environment.
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
