The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of communications and marketing, especially for policy-oriented audiences, as well as experience overseeing budgets and providing financial reporting. They will excel at guiding teams toward achieving project goals, setting expectations with stakeholders, and implementing quality control measures to ensure project standards.

This role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, enabling the successful candidate to enhance client/vendor relationships and team dynamics. They will also possess a deep knowledge of the U.S. political/policy landscape at the federal and state levels.

Key responsibilities include leading the execution and delivery of large-scale, complex projects, fostering a collaborative environment across divisions, acting as the daily interface between the agency's account management team, clients, and other internal divisions, and providing guidance and development coaching to portfolio-specific project managers.

  • Monitor progress, foresee potential risks, and proactively implement plans and solutions to ensure optimal use of resources and financial accountability.
  • Manage communication with all project stakeholders, focusing on balancing Account Management division needs with project delivery capabilities, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with partners and vendors to ensure cohesive support for clients.
