We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit at Penn State Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our young patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients, including medication administration and monitoring for reactions and side effects.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- AHA BLS certification prior to the end of the orientation period.
- Two (2) years of experience in pediatric nursing.
