Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Littlefield Retail Group, Inc. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, provide information about products and promotions, and resolve any customer inquiries or concerns in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Transaction Processing: Efficiently and accurately process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments, and ensure that the correct prices and discounts are applied to each item.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including replenishing bags, receipt paper, and other supplies, and monitor and report any discrepancies or suspicious activities at the checkout.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the store, and follow all safety and security procedures to protect customers, employees, and company assets.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Restock shelves, coolers, and displays, maintain a neat and visually appealing store environment, and perform general cleaning of the store, including service areas, restrooms, sales floor, food prep area, and parking lot.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, mathematical skills, and attention to detail, ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, basic computer skills, and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move objects up to 25+/- pounds.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
