Role Overview

  • Independently designs, executes, and assesses nursing care plans
  • Delivers direct patient care with compassion and professionalism

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts patient triage, confirming allergies, symptoms, and medication history
  • Administers prescribed treatments and medications as directed
  • Organizes and prioritizes patient care effectively
  • Accurately documents patient data and care provided
  • Assists medical professionals during examinations and procedures
  • Provides education to patients and their families regarding health management
  • Performs essential medical tasks such as blood draws, urine tests, and injections
  • Handles specimens and conducts laboratory tests
  • Orders necessary laboratory and medical supplies
  • Maintains cleanliness of surgical instruments and prepares them for sterilization
  • Reviews patient charts for accuracy in billing and diagnoses

Qualifications and Experience

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required
  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting or physician's office
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory
  • Proficient computer skills are necessary
