We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at OnPoint Medical Group. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical clinics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, either in person or over the phone.
  • Complete pre-visit planning, including contacting patients for updated insurance information and verifying patient records.
  • Register new patients and verify existing patient information.
  • Collect co-pays and payments as needed.
  • Answer inbound calls to schedule patients and serve as a liaison to clinical staff for patient inquiries.
  • Perform administrative duties to ensure a smooth patient visit, timely billing, and a clutter-free front office.
  • Make outbound calls to schedule appointments.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Attend to punctual and regular attendance is essential.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Preferred: Some college education in medical, business, or accounting, customer service experience, current CPR certification, 1-2 years of experience in a business office or clinical environment, bilingual, and EMR experience with Athenahealth practice management system.
