Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Neonatologist to join our team at HCA North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill newborns in our 25-bed NICU and 36 Well-Baby Nursery.
- Average daily census: 14 patients per day
- Annual births/deliveries: approximately 3,500
- Patient load per clinician: 10-15 patients per shift
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Rounding in the NICU and call responsibilities
- Oversight of NNP staff
- Providing medical care to critically ill newborns
Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must be board-certified in neonatology and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
