We have an opening for a Speechwriter in the Washington Navy Yard. This role is Hybrid with 2-3 onsite/remote. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Communications and 10 or more years of relevant experience.

• Active Secret Clearance
• Demonstrated experience writing speeches for senior defense and/or industry leaders
• Ability to work directly with senior leaders to develop themes and messaging
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Navy and Defense issues and current events

• Military speechwriter (Echelon I or II level preferred)
