**Job Summary:**

ArchWell Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care to our members.

About the Role:

The Medical Assistant will work closely with our healthcare providers to deliver primary care services to our members. This includes conducting intake, performing routine screenings, and providing health education to patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct intake with patients, including measuring and recording vital signs, patient interview, and medical history.
  2. Perform examinations and routine screenings, ensuring patients are informed and all questions and concerns are addressed for each procedure.
  3. Provide health coaching to a defined group of patients to support healthy lifestyle choices; follows up with coached patients via weekly calls.
  4. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and conduct accurate, legal, and ethical documentation at all times.
  5. Assist with administrative tasks, such as processing patient phone messages and routing calls to other team members as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) required.
  • Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program OR comparable healthcare vocational training (i.e. foreign-trained physician, paramedic, etc.) required.
