About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Member Support Specialist to join our team at One Medical. As a key member of our office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient experiences, ensuring seamless in-office operations, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding patient care through impeccable communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage patient intake, same-day scheduling, and follow-up appointments with precision and attention to detail.
  • Provide administrative support, including check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and paperwork tasks.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve service level expectations and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with technology, including our electronic medical record system, and utilize it to interact with team members and patients.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in high-touch customer or patient-facing roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working on collaborative, diverse, and feedback-driven teams.
  • A proven track record of persisting through change, demonstrating a forward-thinking perspective, and consistently stepping up to take action on challenges.
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously.
