The Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in an inpatient setting. As a Staff RN, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, identifying and addressing any changes or concerns.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within 90 days of hire.
- Previous experience in preoperative or PACU care is encouraged.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
