Millbrook is seeking dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) for exciting opportunities throughout the Northern California Area.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (M.A./M.S.) from a regionally accredited institution and recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's Council.
  • Current license issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.
  • Possession or ability to obtain a Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Ability to fulfill pre-employment credentialing requirements (Background Check & Drug Screen).
  • A positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
  • Willingness to participate in events outside regular hours, travel as necessary, and engage actively in the role.
  • Experience in a public-school environment.

Position Details:

  • Openings available in Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.
  • Contracted positions for the upcoming school year.

As a Speech Language Pathologist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying students who require specialized speech or language services and providing customized solutions for academic achievement.
  • Conducting individual and group therapy sessions using curriculum-based materials and delivering progress reports.
  • Supervising support staff, collaborating with educators, and offering alternative communication systems.
  • Creating engaging learning environments that foster social, physical, and intellectual development.
  • Assessing individual learning needs, developing tailored solutions, and implementing curriculum objectives.
  • Modeling professional behavior, upholding values, and promoting character development.
